I have great respect for your perspectives on so many of our issues in the US, and look forward to any opportunity to hear you.

And I do want to urge you to rethink one of your recent comments about "pay for performance" in schools because I believe it disregards the research on pfp. In brief, it works very well in linear work which requires no thought or decision making. However, in complex work, such as teaching, pay for performance actually produces in worse results.
